WEIGH-INS - Saturday, December 19th ~ 7:00 - 8:30 pm and Sunday, December 20th ~ 7:30 - 8:30 am Accepting all youth wrestlers 8th grade & below. (Open Tournament ~ No Qualifier required) * Singlet MUST be worn at weigh-ins* WRESTLING - Wrestling will begin at 10:00 am Excellent Concessions available all day! AWARDS - Champion will receive a 5" Custom Medal Runner-Up will receive a 3" Custom Medal 3rd - 6th will receive bronze custom Medals Team Awards for the Top 4 Clubs based on Individual Results - * Club Rosters of 15 wrestlers to be turned into Head Table before wrestling begins. Top 6 places qualify for the 2010 Border Wars Folkstyle Fall National Championships COST - $20.00 per wrestler received by December 11, 2009 $30.00 for walk up registration $35.00 per wrestler with Border Wars Winter Championship event t-shirt if received by December 11, 2009 ALL ENTRIES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! A wrestler’s age on the date of the tournament will determine his/her age group for that particular tournament. If a wrestler should be 12 years old now and turns 13 before the Border Wars National Championships and qualifies in the 11&12 age group, then that wrestler will have to participate in the Border Wars Championships at the 13&14 age group. This is the same for all age groups! All Wrestlers must be in 8th Grade & below. Modified High School Rules: Age Groups - 5&6, 7&8, 9&10: three 1 minute periods Age Groups - 11&12 and 13-14-15: three 1 ½ minute periods ** Singlet or shorts & shirts are required! 5&6: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, HWT.
